The Faculty of Languages and Translation and the Department of Japanese Language congratulate Prof. Dr. Karam Khalil Salem, Vice Dean and Head of the Department, on receiving the Imperial Medal at the residence of the Japanese Ambassador in Cairo on Wednesday, 7/8/2024, as the Japanese government announced last April that he was awarded the Order of His Majesty the Emperor of Japan (Order of the Rising Sun - golden rays with a neck scarf) in recognition of his outstanding contribution in promoting relations and strengthening the bonds of friendship between Japan and Egypt.
