Biography

Work experience (More than 10 years in academic teaching and quality assurance requirements): June 2024 till now: Professor in Microbiology and Immunology department, Faculty of pharmacy, Ahram Canadian University (ACU) - Head of microbiology and immunology department. August 2023 till June 2024: Acting head of microbiology and immunology department- Member in the education and student affairs committee. Member in the committee of post graduate studies. 2022-2023: Coordinator for Bachelor of pharmacy-Pharm D program and head of control (level 4). 2021 till now: Member in technical support team in quality assurance center and member in preparing and following up the strategic plan for ACU. 2020 till 2022: Head of Quality assurance unit, Faculty of pharmacy, ACU. My research interests include various research fields such as: - Cell culture technology and its applications - Virology and the use of new stabilizers and adjuvants in improving the production of viral vaccines - Environmental biotechnology via the application of the microbial enzymes in the biodegradation of toxic environmental pollutants - Novel antibacterial, antiviral and anticancer agents and their mechanisms of action - Biological applications of nanoparticles and liposomes - Factors affecting microbial virulence, biofilm formation and resistance to antibiotics - Viral vaccines development for enhancing their immune response - Phage therapy as a novel alternative to antibiotics
